When it comes to drone videography, organisation is the key to any successful Wedding Video.
Pre Wedding Chat
In order to fully understand the brief, we’ll talk through everything in detail in the weeks preceding the wedding. The information you provide us with during this stage will shape everything that follows, and the more information you can provide us with, the better. These consultations can take place over email, telephone or Zoom, and we’re happy to work around your schedule.
Planning
Once we’ve obtained everything we need from the initial consultation, Andy or Felicity will then start planning the filming. This involves monitoring weather patterns, checking airspace regulations and making sure there’s minimal activity scheduled in the airspace we’ll be working in on the day of the shoot. It’s at this stage when we’ll also form our risk assessment.
Airspace check
Once we’ve obtained everything we need from the initial consultation, Andy or Felicity will then start planning the filming. This involves monitoring weather patterns, checking airspace regulations and making sure there’s minimal activity scheduled in the airspace we’ll be working in on the day of the shoot. It’s at this stage when we’ll also form our risk assessment and check that the area is safe and secure to fly our drone.
Bad Weather
If the weather is to windy or wet thenits poissble we ca not fly. If this is the case we have a gimbal and a pole system which can emulate a drone and we will work with that where we can in addition to filming the wedding with a 4k video camera for the best results.
The Wedding Day
With everything planned and our equipment on site and checked, the fun can really begin. It’s at this stage when we’ll take to the sky with one of our professional-grade drones, capturing stunning photos and videos from a height of up to 400ft. Each of the drones we use transmits a hi-res feed to a tablet mounted on a controller - so you’ll be able to see how the footage looks in real time.
The Wedding Film
Once we’ve landed, wrapped and packed-up, we’ll then back-up the footage captured on-site using a secure drive. This content will then either be delivered to our office and edited in-house by Paul in charge of the edit at The Wedding Photo Company. We’ll then be in touch a few weeks with the final Wedding Videos ready for you to download
