Wedding Photographer Polhawn Fort

WE LOVE WEDDINGS IN CORNWALL!

The forecast was rain and 50km winds. We left for Polhawn Fort the day before and stayed on the wonderful Halfway House Inn, nearby in Kingsand. We popped up the Fort to see Sally and Chris who were busy decorating the ceremony room ready for tomorrows big day.

Well on the day the wind blew but the sky cleared leaving a beautiful day ahead. The Wedding Photos and Video started in the spacious cave type rooms underneath the main part of the fort. Beautiful lighting lent to some stunning shots of Sally and here bridal party. On to Chris who was getting ready upstairs with his groomsmen.

The ceremony was a lovely occasion with a touching speech from the bridesmaid. As we left the ceremony room we organised an amazing confetti walk through, the video camera caught some stunning slow motion video. We arranged for a large group photo at the front of Polhawn Fort I had to go on the ledge outside for the shot…scary. but with the sea in the background it looked simply amazing. We then convinced the couple to take the walk down the cliff to the beach. Wedding photos on the beach at Polhawn fort! Wow..The tide was even out, we all had a great laugh and just felt so lucky to having such a great wedding day. After the climb back to the lawns on the fort the wedding guests sat to eat, we were treated to the most amazing diner.

After the wedding speeches we popped out for some Sunset wedding photos. Polhawn Fort really is a magical place for wedding photography and video. Ending the shoot on with photography on the drawbridge at Polhawn we made the short trip back to the Smugglers Inn for a couple pints…

We popped back to Polhawn Fort the next morning when the wind was calmer to get some stunning drone video of Polhawn Fort….Thank God for the Home button the DJI Drone we so nearly lost the drone out at sea! We add this to the wedding video…wow
